How do you show work and answer this math problem?

2/3(fraction)x=8. What is x?How do you show work and answer this math problem?
2/3 x = 8

2x = 24

x = 12How do you show work and answer this math problem?
there are a few ways but the simpliest is to multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 2/3 which is 3/2

(3/2)*(2/3)x = (3/2)(8)

note: (3/2)*(2/3) = 1 and 1x = x

(3/2)*(8/1) = (3/1)*(4/1) = 12/1 = 12

x = 12
multiply both sides by 3 so you are left with

2x = 24

now divide both sides by 2

x = 12

check:

2/3(12) = 8

24/3 = 8

8 = 8 check

Answer is 12
(2/3)x = 8.

As you can see, I multiplyed both sides by 3/2.

Answer is x = 12. Hope I helped! :D
2/3x=8

multiply each side by 3/2

x=12
2/3 x = 8

multiply each side my 3/2 to get x by itself

x= 8*3/2

answer is 12 (:
2/3x = 8

divide both sides by 2/3

2/3 x divided by 2/3 = x

and 8 divided by 2/3 = 11.94

x=11.94
2/3 x = 8 multiply both sides by 3/2

3/2 * 2/3 x = 8 * 3/2

x = 24/2

x=12
2/3x so that means 2/3 multiply by 8

so x=8/2/3 so that is 8 multiply by two thirds
x=12

2/3x time 3 = 8 time 3

so 2x = 24

2x divide by 2 = 24 divide by 2

x= 12
(2/3)x=8

Divide each side by (2/3)

x=12
