Will this rail work for practicing sliding rails on skis?

Will it work or can you not slide on it with skis. If not is there any wax or something to put on it?

It'll work fine but you'll probably want to set it up with the tallest height setting and pack snow around the feet. You don't need to wax the rail, cold steel is pretty slippery by itself and if it gets sticky just throw some snow on it.Will this rail work for practicing sliding rails on skis?
ya debending on your ability. pros do skinnier and longer so youd be fine.
