I麓ve been told that it is possible to use skype (or similar) to ring mobiles in other countries at no cost to the mobile account. Is this so and if so how does it work? You can download skype to your P.C. and make free calls abroad to other skype users. As far as I'm aware, if you want to call mobiles/non-skype users, you need to purchase ';skype credit';.
You need something like an X series phone from 3. With X series silver or gold, you can make (I think), 10,000 minutes of Skype calls a month. Your friend needs Skype on their phone as well. You can then Skype each other to your heart's content at any time of day or night. You can only use it to talk, not for video chat, or sending pics or typed messages.
