An infant has constipation can be treated by one home remedy which is by increasing fluids and adding dark Karo Syrup to the infants milk.Can you explain why this remedy might work?
dark Karo syrup is essentially sugar in a very enriched form and will aid in constipation relief. Its a safe and natural rememdy that isn't as harsh as comercial fix its that never really work.Can you explain why this remedy might work?
both the extra fluids and syrup would act as a laxative in a way..
Certainly more water(fluids) would be good.
Usually a stool softener and laxative would help. Perhaps the molasses in the syrup. I would think fruit would be better.
