I take doxycycline to treat chlamydia. How do I know that this drug is working to get rid of it?

How do I know doxycycline is working for my conditionI take doxycycline to treat chlamydia. How do I know that this drug is working to get rid of it?
dont have sex with anyone until you've finished the antibiotics, of course. antibiotics can keep working up to 14 days after you take them, so id say make a follow up appointment with your doctor about 2 weeks after the medicine is scheduled to end, and get re-checked.I take doxycycline to treat chlamydia. You should start to feel better.

It is recommended you see your prescribing Doctor or Nurse just before, or after your dosage of doxycycline is up. They are the only people who can tell you if it is working effectively and then give you the ok to undertake sexual activities.
