Why won't my poulan's automatic oiler work? Is this a common problem? is there a recall?

It's a new poulan 18'; chainsaw. the oiler is not working. I blew it out and put new oil in there, didn't help. thanksWhy won't my poulan's automatic oiler work? Is this a common problem? is there a recall?
The oil comes into the bar near the center and feeds onto the chain through a small hole in the top chain groove. It is really easy for that hole to get filled with sawdust or bark and not be noticed. It is a common problem with any chainsaw. Making sure those ports in the bar are not plugged is about all you can do short of taking the reservoir and pump apart which should be done by your saw shop if the saw is still new.
