I am being fitted w/a fistula for dialysis. Have had kidney disease 35 yrs. Am now 50. How long will this work?

My mom has been on dialysis for a little over 11 years now. She has had 3 fistulas and numerous catheters. I guess it depends on your body. Please get yourself on the transplant list right away, we all wish she would of, cuz she probably would have got a kidney a LONG time ago!
