How to get this game to work it says it can't create render texture?

Im trying to get this game to work its rataouille and i installed it and i also installed the direct x that came with it but when i go to ';play'; it says fatal error: cannot create reneter texture. Help!?How to get this game to work it says it can't create render texture?
