i keep getting these mails about this company called ';Vector'; offering summer job positions. the thing is i have no idea what this job position is at all. they saythey have summer customer sales and service positions available. what do people do in those positions. people who attended this vector summer job thing help is greatly appreciated. What is this vector company summer work oppurtunity about?
They want you to sell overpriced, yet arguably high quality knives to your friends and family. Yes, that's correct, they do not give you leads. I know this because I recently got ';hired'; but am seriously considering not going to the 17 hours of unpaid training. I did a little research and found out that this is not the most reputable company. However, if you need a little cash and are in favor of selling $1000 knives to friends and family then go for it.
But don't listen to me. I know little about the company. Go to an interview, get hired, go to the training and pay the $150 down paymentt on the starter kit and try to sell some knives. Your choice. What is this vector company summer work oppurtunity about?
I recently got the same letter. Vector is a company that sells the kitchenware called ';Cutco.'; If they sent you a letter, its most likely that they want you to be a salesman for their product. As far as I know, they do no cold-calling, no door to door, and they get clients mostly from recommendations. It's actually pretty cool resume experience.
